Videos

The video section is a video hosting server for serving videos used in your ads. It supports standard .mp4 hosting (aka Pseudo Streaming) and Adaptive streaming.

#Standard video hosting (Pseudo streaming)

Simply drag/drop your video to upload. Click "No" on the question about Preparing for streaming. We recommend that you have prepared your video using best practices for use in advertising.

If you plan to autoplay the video, the max file size should be 3.8 MB. (Ads that are more than 4 MB in total weight will be blocked by Chrome.)

Display networks usually also have a total weight limit of 5 MB for ads, incl. videos that are initiated by user clicks.

#Adaptive streaming

Your files will be converted and prepared to be used with adaptive streaming technology.

1. Drag/drop your files to upload them.
2. Select "Prepare files for streaming"
3. Select the bitrates you want to convert to*
4. Click "Process and upload"

It will take a few minutes to prepare your files, depending on your files and how many files.

#Bitrates

The default bitrate selection will usually work great for most videos. However, if you have fast-moving images in your video, it may give better results to add the last 3 bitrates.

After the converting process is done, you can preview the videos. You can also exclude bitrate versions that may have too low quality.

Bitrates versions that exceed the maximum file size of 4MB will be automatically removed. (Ads that are more than 4 MB in total weight will be blocked by Chrome.)
